Disgraced
Written by Ayad Akhtar. I worked on this design with my mentor, Kendra Johnson, in order to practice costume design in late 2024. This show is largely set over the course of one dinner party, and the costumes are chosen for that scene.

Some of my initial thoughts after reading the script:
This show was difficult to research because, although it was set fairly recently, (2013), it was hard to get accurate pictures of the style of the time instead of just runway photos. I looked at a lot of old articles about artists, NY lawyers, and the street style of the time.
